In addition to our extensive cookbook collection, Appetite for Books offers cooking demonstrations and tastings to groups at all levels of culinary skill. With a professionally equipped kitchen, Appetite for Books is the only cookbook store of its kind in Montreal!
Led by Chef Jonathan, we invite you into the kitchen to explore the various styles of cuisine and culinary techniques. There will be plenty to eat, so be sure to bring your appetite!
To register for a class, you may register in person at the store or by telephone. Please call us at 514-369-2002.
Full payment must accompany your class registration. Classes are filled on a first come first serve basis.
Classes & Events are Non-Refundable.
If you are unable to attend a class, a minimum five days notice prior to the class date is required to be eligible for a store credit.
We are unable to issue a store credit for cancellations with less than five days notice.
We offer a 10% discount on books purchased during our classes.
We are pleased to offer customised cooking demonstrations and tastings just for your group.
Private group classes for eight to ten guests start at $95 per guest and Jonathan will work with you to create the perfect menu for your evening
A 50% deposit is required once a date for your evening is confirmed.
The balance is due five days prior to your event. With a minimum five days notice, a store credit, to be used towards another class or book purchase, will be provided. We are unable to issue a store credit for cancellations with less than five days notice.
